Replacement code for Kit

Hi,

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas. My dd8 is still reeling from all her AG stuff and LOVES Kit, her first AG doll. Noticed I said "first", as if she will be getting more.... [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] So far, Kit has travelled to church, Granny's house, the dentist office and a great aunt's. She took a break in the van when we went to the mall.

My mom made Hannah a ton of clothes for Kit. She even did her own version of the hobo outfit. Hannah would love to have the hat that AG has w/ their hobo outfit, but isn't at all interested in getting the whole outfit. She say's the outfit granny made is just right & means more to her. [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img] Sweet, huh? I told her it wouldn't match the denim overall's because it would be from different fabric. Her response? "That's o.k., it was Will's hat, so it's not supposed to match!" Was she being smart, or fresh?!? Anywho, does anyone have a replacement code for the hat? I checked the sticky & looked through a few websites & haven't come across it.

I hope to get dh to make an album tonight. Hannah & I had a fashion show w/ Kit in all her new outfits (Granny made ones) & she is dying to show all of you. We spent at least an hour changing clothes & taking pics. There are over a dozen outfits! Funny, Santa brought her two AG outfits for Kit & she hasn't worn them much at all compared to the homemade ones.

I wouldn't say her comment was being fresh (unless she had that tone...) if anything it showed good reading comprehension because she was able to recall a point in the story without being guided!

As for the code, I don't have it, but you can email AG through their website, or call 1-800-845-0005 and talk to a very helpful operator.

You'll have to call eventually, replacement parts can't be ordered online.

Thanks! I'll e-mail them. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself. When an AG ??? comes up, I just think to ask here first. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] I don't really think she was trying to be fresh, but it was rather funny the way she said it. Very matter of fact. As if there was a real Will & a real hat. [img]cool.gif[/img] She LOVES reading & doesn't forget a thing.

I have the outfit, and the cap doesn't match the overalls anyway. The cap is dark blue, and made from a different material than the britches.

Sounds like AG paid attention to the story line too! lol. I just love AG's quality & attention to detail.

Are you one of the Ruthie doll owners that answered my post (quite a while back) on what color Ruthie's eyes are? My dd brought me her book set & Kit's Friendship Fun book with a magnifying glass & a big grin and said, "See, her eye's ARE brown like I thought they were". She still wants to buy a AGOT w/ brown eyes & make it Ruthie. I can't remember a reference in the book to eye color, but the artist made them light brown, maybe w/ a hint of green, in the pics dd showed me. She always has to be right. *Sigh* I love that she searched for proof & came back w/ the answer, Not so sure she would have done that if they had looked blue. lol. Gotta' love 8 year olds.
